This complimentary workshop is hosted by The Humane Society of the United States and will provide attendees with the tools needed to stay resilient as they face the day-to-day challenges of their work in the animal protection field. The workshop will provide participants with a shared language and understanding of the causes and symptoms of compassion fatigue as well as a suite of skills to become a non-anxious presence, and that can be used to build and maintain a healthy and intentional culture of skillful communication, openness, and personal responsibility. Participants will also have the opportunity to create a personal plan of action.
